Dominic Michael Panarisi, 30, of North Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on April 2, 2026, at North Kansas City Hospice, surrounded by his loving family and friends, after a nearly six-year battle with brain cancer.

Dominic was born on November 21, 1995, in North Kansas City, Missouri. His love for sports began at a young age and continued throughout his life. He attended St. Charles Borromeo and St. Pius X High School, where he further developed his passion for athletics. At St. Pius X, he lettered in golf and was known for his dedication and team spirit. He continued his education at the University of Missouri, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Dominic had many friends and was loved by all who knew him. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and University of Missouri Athletics. He was a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, serving as vice president during his time at the University of Missouri, where he formed lifelong friendships.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Salvina Panarisi, and Carl N. Neidig.

Dominic is survived by his loving parents, Salvatore and Christine Panarisi; his sister, Anita Shippy (Brandon); his brother, Frank Panarisi; and his grandmother, Geraldine Neidig. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dominic's care team at The University of Kansas Medical Center and North Kansas City Hospital for their compassion and support. They also wish to thank the many family members and friends who stood by Dominic and supported him throughout his cancer journey.

Dominic's passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he created. He will be remembered not by the length of his years, but by the depth of his compassion, the strength of his character, and the warmth of his presence. He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Shippy, Matthew Siebel, Matthew McKnight, Cole Stevenson, Carson Jones, and Matt Ebinger.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, at St. Charles Borroemo Catholic Church. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 a.m. followed by Visitation from 8:50 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Reflections by Nick Romano and Madeline Moore will be at 11:20 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
