Dominick M. Ferrara's Obituary
Dominick M. Ferrara, 92, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at Garden Village Retirement Center. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, September 26, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, at the Funeral Home, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Dominick was born January 21, 1924, in Kansas City, MO, to Ben and Rose (Malaponte) Ferrara. He worked side by side with his wife Annette in the grocery business, owning Belmont Market from 1946 to 1992. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, and dearly loved his family.
Dominick was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Annette Ferrara; brother, Carl Ferrara; and sister, Angeline Hovis. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Don A. and Nanette Ferrara; daughter and son-in-law, Rosemarie and Roger Sparks; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
