Donald Freeman Greathouse departed this world surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the age of 69.

Donald was born on April 26, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Leonard Paul and Mildred Ruth (Buchanan) Greathouse.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, KCMO. Inurnment will follow at a later date with a private family service.

Donald was a lifelong resident of Kansas City.  There, he met the love of his life, Patricia Ann (Musso) Greathouse, and were married on February 20, 1971.  They raised two beautiful daughters Angela and Lori, and became the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.

Donald was an employee of Massey Ferguson / AGCO for 40 years before retiring.  A loving husband, and devoted father, family came first especially when it came to his daughters and grandchildren.  The loss of him has left a hole in the hearts for all that loved him, especially his wife and daughters.

His sense of humor and ability to make you laugh will be remembered by all who knew him.  He leaves a long list of stories and jokes to keep anyone thinking of him smiling.  A caring person and role model to his family, we miss the man but think fondly of the person he was and the legacy he leaves behind.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mildred Greathouse; siblings, Johnny Greathouse and Sherry Lemley; father and mother-in-law, Louis and Angeline Musso; and sister-in-law, Mary Musso.

Donald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Greathouse; daughters, Angela Terrell and Lori Humston (George); grandchildren, Patricia Allen (Devin), Lauren Terrell, Nickolas Humston, and Lexi Terrell.  He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Smith, Leonard Greathouse (Judy), James Greathouse, Jackie Greathouse, Kenny Greathouse, and Terry Stone; brother-in-law, Lawrence Musso; many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
