Doris A. Urnise, 89, Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 22, 2014, 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, MO 64123, where the funeral Mass will begin at 12 p.m. Entombment will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum.

Mrs. Urnise was preceded in death by her beloved son, Richard, and her loving husband, Ross. She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Neland, and son, Ronald Duffield, beloved grandchildren, Mendi Neland, Kristi Dodson, Richard Duffield, Peter Roca, Anna Marie Roca, Donna Kramer, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephew who she loved dearly.

The family wishes to thank the care staff at New Mark Care Center and Crossroads Hospice for the care she was provided.
