Earl Leroy Shoemaker, Sr., a lifelong resident of Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away March 24, 2016, at his home.

Earl was a warehouseman and truck driver. He was previously a Boy Scout commissioner and was active in several packs and troops. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marian Todd. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Shoemaker; son, Earl Jr.; daughter, Melissa Jean; step-daughter, Michelle Bardwell-Turner; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Earl's wish was to be cremated.
