Edgar "Bill" Kern, 91, passed away October 11, 2018. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
Bill was born October 19, 1926, in Kansas City, MO. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as operations manager at the Ford Claycomo Plant.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine (Martino) Kern; son, David W. Kern (Carolyn); daughter, Debbie Kern; granddaughter, Mary Katherine Costanzo (Pete); grandson, Matthew Kern; great-grandchildren, Luca and Alivia Costanzo; brother, Jack Kern (Sadie); brother-in-law, John Martino; and many nieces and nephews.
