On Friday, May 18, 2018, Edith Lee "Edie" McHugh, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, passed away peacefully at the age of 70.

Edith was born October 11, 1947, in Nevada, MO, the daughter of the late Roy and Eileen (Smith) Pulliam, and sister of the late Connie (Pulliam) Belcher. She was the parish secretary of St. Patrick Parish for many years. Prior to that she worked at the parish daycare from the time it first opened. Edie enjoyed spending time with family and many friends.

Edie will be forever remembered by her husband of 40 years and best friend, Dan M. McHugh; their children, Daniel M. McHugh III and Roy McHugh (Amie); grandchildren, Tess, Ella, and Daniel McHugh; niece Melissa Huff; great-niece, Keely Huff; and great-nephew, Ben Huff. Edie will also be forever remembered by her numerous extended family and dear friends.

A celebration of Edie's life will be held at 8:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42 ^nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116. Private burial will be later. Memorial contributions in Edie's memory are suggested to the El Salvador Education Fund at St. Patrick Parish; or the Bishop Sullivan Center, 6435 Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64126.
