Edna M. Llorente, 86, of Northeast Kansas City, MO, lost her life to cancer on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Born one of 12 children in Toronto, SD, she married Jack Llorente in 1947 and they had four children before she was widowed at the age of 44. She loved to travel, play games of chance, and spend time with those she loved. She had a great sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a strong work ethic. She was a steady presence in the lives of her family. She will be very missed.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her son Johnnie Lee. Survivors include her daughters, Ina Griffin of Grand Rapids, MI and Julie Llorente; son, Joel (Jeanne) Llorente; five grandchildren, Chad, Emily, Jeremie, Jessica, JR; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, at the Forest Hill Cemetery Pantheon, 6901 Troost, Kansas City, MO 64131.
