Elvira Ellena "Mary Ellen" Diaz Robinson, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, where funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.

Elvira, or as she loved to be known as "Mary Ellen", was born in Eskridge, KS and was the second to the youngest of fourteen children. She is preceded in death by her parents Antanacio Lopez-Diaz and Micaela Martinez-Diaz; her children John Saysoff Sr. and Lisa Saysoff; and her grandchild Loraine Saysoff-Zerban. She is survived by her husband Charles Robinson; her children George Saysoff Jr. and wife, Jackie Shearer and husband, Michael Saysoff, Phillip Robinson and wife, Veronica Robinson, and Sophia Zerban. She is also survived by twenty-plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three grand dogs; and many friends and family along the way.
