Dr. Eugene P. Morenas' Obituary
Dr. Eugene P. Morenas, 64, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 416 W. 12th St., Kansas City, MO 64105, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Eugene was born December 25, 1948. He was a devout Catholic, educator and administrator who will be deeply missed by his family. He was very active with the Mother Theresa orphanage in Ethiopia. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Genny Morenas; his children, Eugene Morenas and wife Julianna, Genevieve Morenas, and Elfrieda Morenas; and his granddaughter, Veronica Morenas.
