Eva Curry, 90, passed away June 8, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Services were private.
Eva was born in Tampa, FL, and relocated with her family to Marianna, FL, where she was raised. She moved to Kansas City after her marriage, and worked as a bookkeeper for Garney Construction for over 15 years. Eva was a dog lover and had a little Maltese named Jo-Jo. He was her little shadow and she loved him so much. Following retirement she relocated to the Lake of Ozark's where she loved to sail on her sailboat, and cruise on the pontoon boat. She was an avid reader of countless books, and enjoyed sewing for her girls, making many matching outfits for herself and them.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie Mae and Alfred Aaron Kohn Sr.; her son-in-law, Charles Louis Monaco; grandson, Charles Louis Monaco II; step-grandson, Jason Curry; and step-son, Steve Curry. She is survived by her loving husband, James Roe Curry; five children and their spouses, Jerralyn and George Tibbs, Jo Ann Monteleone Monaco, Cheryl and Rick Crane, Deborah and Gwen Netherland, and Joseph Jerome Monteleone Jr.; five step-children and their spouses, Mike and Cathy Curry, David and Maryjo Curry, Doug and Cathy Curry, Terrie Jo Pratt and Roger Powell; 23 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Alfred Aaron Jr. and Annie Kohn.
Eva was loved by her family, and will be greatly missed. We know she is now in the hands of our Lord, and is at peace.
