Fanita "Peaches" Mangiaracina, 87, passed away January 21, 2014. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a Memorial Service will begin at 5:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice, 2900 NE 60th St., Gladstone, MO 64119.

Peaches was born June 7, 1926, in Waterloo, MO. She was an antique dealer for over 50 years. More than anything else she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Jayhawker. Peaches was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1993.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Lloyd Gregory; son and daughter-in-law, Carl Micheal and Barbie Mangiaracina; grandchildren, Carla and Jerry Hall, Joe and Denise Gregory, Lisa Marie Accurso, Samantha Hidden, Brandon, Connor, Sean, and Joseph Mangiaracina; great-grandchildren, Delaney and Mikinlee Hall, Tristen Hidden; sister and brother-in-law, Jody and Bob Sappenfield; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Doris Alumbaugh; partner for the last 15 years, Gene Noland; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
