Fanny (Calderone) Martines, 85, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City North. Please omit flowers.

Fanny was born October 18, 1927 in Kansas City. MO. She graduated from Holy Rosary Grade School and Manuel High School. She worked in retail for Miller Wohl Co. for 25 years, and later retired in 1983 after 26 years with the Kansas City Municipal Court.

Fanny was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Maria (Greco) Calderone; grandson, Andrew Fisher; sisters, Ann and Rose; and brothers, Mike and Carl.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachelle Fisher; grandchildren, Joseph and Jennifer Fisher, Amy and Ryan Coleman, and Shelley Fisher; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Rosemary Evola and Charlie, John Garcia and Jackie, and Mike Garcia.

Fanny was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
