Flavio Miglia, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away July 18, 2026.

He was born February 5, 1939, in Orsera, Italy, and immigrated to the United States in 1956. He worked at Nelly Don factory and loved hot rod cars, movies, red socks for good luck, fixing everything himself, playing the lottery, and his favorite news anchors. He was a loyal, loving and ever-present figure to his entire family.

Flavio was preceded in death by parents Albino and Ester Miglia, and brother-in-law James Artese. He is survived by his sister Maria Artese; nephew Steve Ruiz (Katie); niece Gina Artese; and great-nephew and great-niece Nico (Lissette) and Ariana Ruiz.

Services will be held on Friday July 24, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.
