Florine (Ferrantelle)
Arnone
Mar 25, 1934 — Apr 30, 2020
Florine N. (Ferrantelle) Arnone, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on April 30, 2020.
Florine worked as an EEG Technician at the old General Hospital (now known as Truman Medical Center) for many years and retired only to go back and retire several more times. She was also president and founder of the Northland Recovery Group, Inc., at which she held weekly meetings for over 40-plus years. Besides being a devoted Catholic and enjoying her prayer groups and her "fabulous five", her pride and joy were her four children, who took a back seat when her four grandchildren were born and, of course, followed by her 4 ½ great-grandbabies. Florine loved having St. Joseph's Day dinner at her house every year and preparing all the food herself. Her quiet time consisted of reading, knitting blankets for her grandbabies and afghans for everyone to snuggle up to in the winter. Oh, and let's not forget how she loved beading anything from t-shirts to tea towels and adding "just a touch" of sequins to a very nice top or dress.
Florine is now with Our Heavenly Father in His Kingdom, wrapped in the Arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Florine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace (Ciccio) Ferrantelle; her husband, Salvatore V. Arnone; and her son, Frank V. Arnone. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth and Anthony Mirabile, Joseph and Kimberly Arnone, Tina and Donald Costanzo; her grandchildren, Jasper and Ashley Mirabile, Sarah and Ryan Mackin, Salvatore C. and Megan Arnone, Jennifer and Nico Brogoto; great-grandchildren, Ella Rose Arnone, Joseph Michael Brogoto, Jonathan James Mackin, Stella June Mirabile, and Baby Boy Arnone on the way; brother, Joseph Ferrantelle; brother-in-law, Jack Arnone; sister-in-law, Debbie Arnone; and a large extended family.
Funeral Services are private with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.passantinobros.com
