Frances Elizabeth (Totta) LaManno passed away at her home on October 23, 2025, at the age of 95.

Frances was born in Kansas City, MO, and was raised in the North End by her immigrant parents Antonio and Anna Totta. She married Carl M. LaManno on February 3, 1951, and stayed home to raise their three sons. They spent many pleasant weekends at the Ozarks and worked hard to make life better for their sons.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl , her son Carl Joseph LaManno, and her daughter-in-law Teresa LaManno. Survivors include her sons Jim LaManno and Tony LaManno (Angela); grandsons Joseph LaManno and Gian LaManno (Adriana); granddaughters Cara Huff (Bobby), Alissa LaManno, Jennifer Handler (Matt); and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Independence, MO. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Mark's Parish or the Teresa R.
