Frances E. O'Brien of Kansas City, Mo. died Friday March 14, 2014. She was born May 26, 1930 in Little Fork, Minnesota.  Graveside services will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Valerie A. Abbott and husband, Vince; Maureen B. Hudson and husband, Allen; and Marla S. Barngrover-Hause and husband Gregory.  She had 5 grandchildren: Salvatore Abbott and wife, Francie; Carmaline Bradley and husband, Jimmy; Michael K. Barngrover, Nicole E. Barngrover and Matthew Lee Hudson and 5 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by 2 brothers: Louis Merkling and Freddie Wilken.
