It is with both sadness, and blessed assurance in our Lord & Savior Christ Jesus, that the family of Frances Mary (Pascuzzi) Lombardo, age 86, announce her passing to eternal glory on the 5th of June 2025, surrounded by all four of her children.
Frances Mary (Pascuzzi) Lombardo was born on July 18, 1938, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1956. As a young adult she worked as a Switchboard Operator at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.
She married Anthony Joseph Lombardo on November 5, 1960, at St. Anthony (Assumption) Catholic Church. As a newly married couple they made their home in KCMO and were blessed with four loving children.
Raising her children was Frances' primary focus and joy. Throughout the years Frances worked as an in-home Daycare Provider. She also worked part-time as a Food Demonstrator and American Greeting Cards Representative and as an Aide for before/after School Care for NKC Public Schools.
Frances enjoyed many hobbies including – being a member of the Antioch Bowling League, ceramics classes, fabric painting, sewing and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with friends, playing cards, bingo, meeting for coffee and making conversation with anyone, anywhere. She was a friend to all.
Frances greatest joy and interests were with her family and exploring the open road on many trips to - Lake of the Ozarks, Branson and as far as San Diego, California, to visit family and vacation.
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband Anthony Joseph Lombardo (married 63 years), parents Congetta (Gigliotti) Pascuzzi, Sam Pascuzzi and Josephine (Matacia) Pascuzzi; and siblings Micheline (Raymond) Johnson and Sam Pascuzzi Jr.
Frances will be lovingly remembered by her children: Frances (Steven) Breshears, Anthony (Belinda) Lombardo, Jack (Rhonda) Lombardo, Michael Lombardo, and by her grandchildren: Loy (Amanda) Lombardo, Tyler Breshears, Samantha Lombardo, Dalton (Taylor) Breshears, Brandon (Rachel) Lombardo, Clayton (Emily) Breshears, Brock (Lauren) Lombardo, Madison Lombardo, Spencer Lombardo; and by her great-grandchildren: Jax, Lia, Gianni, Olivia, Bennett, Elaine and Geneveive. Along with many surviving family members and dear friends.
The Visitation (9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) and Funeral Mass (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at St. Gabriel Archangel Parish, 4737 N. Cleveland Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64117. The family welcomes all who attend to join us for a luncheon immediately following Mass.
The Burial Interment will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be designated in Frances' name to: St. Gabriel's Catholic Church or Wounded Warrior Project https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org or a meaningful charity of choice.
