Frank Antonio Vigliaturo, 77, passed away December 1, 2023, at his home in Blue Springs, MO. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.

Frank was born on May 1, 1946, in Bad Vilbel, Germany, to Anthony Frank Vigliaturo and Hella Luise Rabbas. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Air Force, joining right out of high school, where he served as an airplane mechanic during Vietnam.

Frank enjoyed life and was often the life of the party. Early in life, he was quite an auto technician. You could often find him working in the garage or helping others with their automotive needs. There were often loud Frank Sinatra renditions that always ended in a toast with Frank! He enjoyed fishing, canoeing camping and being with friends and family.

Frank drove trucks throughout the mid-west while working for Safeway, and Mid-Continent Paper. He often spoke of travels to Nebraska and would tremble at the thought of the cold winters incurred on those trips North.

Frank is survived by his wife of 22 years Doris Vigliaturo; his brothers Robert (Karen) Vigliaturo and Gerald Vigliaturo; his children: Philip (Julie) Vigliaturo, Gina Vigliaturo, and Nicholas Vigliaturo; his stepchildren Penny (Deric) Spears, Amanda Porter, Kristy Ditamore, and Kim Jennings; and his grandchildren Bailey, Samuel, Allison, William, Madalyn, Cooper, Hella, Nicholas Jr, Jordan, Kristyn, Keaton, Cameron, Amy, and Josiah.

Frank was preceded in death by his father Tony Vigliaturo; his mother Hella Rabbas; his stepmother Helen Vigliaturo; and many other family members.
