Frank
Armato
May 19, 1955 — Jun 10, 2022
Frank Armato passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2022.
Frank was born on May 19, 1955, to Carl and Sarah (Battaglia) Armato in Kansas City, MO. He attended St. John and Garfield Grade Schools and graduated from Northeast High School in 1975. Frank went to work for Northeast Painting Company right out of high school, where he started his journey as a Wallcover Specialist and Painter for 35 years. He proudly retired from the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades nine years ago. Post-retirement Frank spent his early mornings working for the Walmart Bakery for five years before officially retiring.
In his younger years Frank enjoyed taking his boat out for a spin at the Lake of the Ozarks with his good buddy Vic Glorioso. He loved tinkering with cars and even restored a red corvette to pass on to his son one day.
Often dropping in on the weekends, Frank never passed up his mom's pasta with the meatballs. He could be found on Park Avenue multiple times a week to have lunch with his mother. He loved talking shop with his brothers Dominick, Joe and Carl - you could often times hear one of them shout out "Hey, Holmes!" as he walked through the door. Frank was very proud of his family and enjoyed watching his granddaughters play softball.
Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mona, and his father Carl Armato. He is survived by his only son Patrick, his daughter-in-law Carley, and granddaughters Kiera, Elayna and Anna; his mother Sarah, brothers Dominick (Shelley), Joe, and Carl Anthony; his nieces Francie Armato, Julie Armato, and Jessica Soliz; and his nephew Anthony Carmine Armato. He leaves behind family, friends, neighbors, and his dog and cats, all who miss him greatly.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Resurrection Mausoleum.
