Frankie George Cardello, 56, passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on September 4, 1969.

Frank grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended school in Raytown from grade school all the way to high school at Raytown High. He was a proud member of Pipefitters Local 533.

Growing up, Frankie was very active in sports. He was a wrestler and played soccer, baseball and football. He also had a deep love for racing, whether it was sprint cars or stock cars, and loved anything that went fast.  His passion for NASCAR racing was a constant throughout his life, and he also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars, a hobby he had cherished since he was young. He also loved spending time camping and fishing with Tricia and his daughters.

Frankie had a vibrant and joyful personality and a deep love for people of all ages, which earned him a multitude of friends. He had a remarkable musical talent and collected nearly every instrument imaginable, including guitars, drums, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and banjo, teaching himself to play each one proficiently. His favorite, however, was the harmonica. He carried harmonicas of all sizes in his pocket, big, medium, small, and tiny. At family gatherings, he would begin playing the blues on the largest one. As his brothers jokingly took them away one by one, he would keep pulling out smaller harmonicas, much to everyone's surprise. What followed was always laughter. He was truly the life of the family and brought immense joy to everyone around him.

Above all else, Frankie's most precious treasures were his children, whom he adored. He is remembered by his daughters Nicole (Levi) and Natalie (Dakota), their mother Tricia Edge, his daughter McKinli, and his son Mateo. He was a proud grandfather to Levi II, Lena, Louie, Luca, Dawson, and baby Francesca, who is lovingly called "Frankie."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Katie Cardello and George and Helen DeLisio, as well as his nephew Benny Cardello, whom he loved dearly.

Frankie is survived by his children and grandchildren; his mother Margaret DeLisio Cardello; his father Ben Cardello (Dianna); his siblings Joe Cardello (former spouse Lorie Cardello), Cathy Cardello Cosentino (John), Chris Cardello (Lisa), Tony Mike Cardello (Dominique), Angela Cascone (Mark), Nick Cascone, and Michael Cascone (Emily). He is also survived by his aunt Rosie DeLisio and aunt Liz Atkinson; his uncle Chris DeLisio (Bobbie); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, his godparents, and countless loving friends.

He is gone, but he will never be forgotten. Our hearts are broken.

Services will be held on Monday, April 13, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m.
