Frank Alfred Mackedanz, 70, Peculiar, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Memorial Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, MO 64012, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Mausoleum, Raytown, MO. Please omit flowers.

Frank was born May 2, 1942 in Redondo Beach, CA, to Frank and Martha Mackedanz, and came to the Kansas City area at an early age. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the General Motors Leeds Plant after 30 years.

Frank is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bonita (Scarcello) Mackedanz; his sons, David Mackedanz, Daniel Mackedanz and wife Carol; granddaughter, Jaimy Mackedanz; sisters and brothers-in-law, Etta and Dale Stackhouse, Barbara and Bob Aswegan; brother, William Mackedanz; mother-in-law, Anna Scarcello; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute for all their care of Frank.
