Frank Joseph Metz, 45, of Kansas City MO, passed away November 17, 2018.
Born on July 26, 1973, he was the son of Conrad Metz (deceased) and Pamela (Diehl) Monteleone. Frank was a 1991 graduate of St. Mary's High School. He was actively involved in Scouting where he was awarded the highest honor of Eagle Scout and was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. At 18, he entered an Apprenticeship Program, achieving Journeyman Painter, and fulfilled his professional painting career at Northeast Painting Company and Dayco Painting Co. Frank was a member of the Painter's Union Local #9 for 25 years.
Frank had a passion for flying and achieved his certification to pilot single engine aircraft. He was a talented lover of music and loved to play the piano and guitar. He adored singing and song writing with his kids. Frank was the life of the party, and his laughter was contagious. He put a smile on everyone's face with his loving heart and never knew a stranger.
Frank is survived by his parents, Pamela and James Monteleone; his beautiful children, Gena, Alyssa, Alaina, and Frank "Frankie" Joseph Jr.; along with their mother, Cathy Bondi. He is lovingly remembered by his brother Carl Metz; sister Alina Metz; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. followed by Visitation 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 23, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family & Friends will gather on Saturday, November 24, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 MO-291, Liberty, MO 64068, where a Service of Remembrance will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to a fund for Frank's children in care of the Passantino Bros. Funeral Home.
