Frank L.
Palma
Aug 23, 1943 — Jul 18, 2021
Frank Louis Palma, age 77 of Kearney, MO, passed away July 18, 2021.
Frank was proceeded in death by his father Aremondo Palma, mother Rose Palma (Mingrone), brother Rudy Palma (Diana), and granddaughter and namesake Francesca Lucia Scardino.
He was survived by his spouse Sandra Palma (Ferrante) of 55 years, daughter Toni Anne Scardino (Sam), son Frank Aremondo Palma; grandchildren Gina Harris (Tom), Gianna Scardino, Frank V. Palma, Joseph Palma, Lucia Scardino and Natalie Palma; brother Sal Palma, brother John Palma (Diane); sister-in-law Debbie Muschietty (Mickey), brother-in-law Tom Ferrante (Theresa), and brother-in-law Vincent Ferrante; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
First and foremost, Frank was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa. His grandchildren were the light of his life and enjoyed every moment spent with them. He always had everyone laughing with this one-of-a-kind personality. We will forever be repeating Grandpa stories and quotes. He was the happiest being surrounded by his family and friends.
Frank met the love of his life Sandra Ferrante in 1962. They lived across the street from each other, and he was very persistent in trying to get her to speak to him. They were never apart since that time.
Frank served in the Army reserves and retired from Trans World Airlines after 43 years. However, his favorite job was being a full-time Grandpa.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Kansas City North. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
