Frank Anthony Pittala, 78, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021, at St. Luke's Northland Hospital. A private military burial with his immediate family and siblings will be held.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Salvatore "Sam" Pittala and Kelly Pittala; and brother Carl Joseph Pittala. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Kitty (Curiale) Pittala; son and daughter-in law Salvatore "Sam" and Lisa Pittala; granddaughter Kaitlyn Pittala; grandson Victor Pittala; daughter and son-in-law Kelli and Jason Harp; granddaughters Maggie and Katie Harp; sisters and brothers-in-law Santa and Vince Galate, Josephine and Mike Humar; brother and sister-in-law Dr. Leonard and Katie Pittala; sister and brother-in-law Antoinette and Simon Christofano; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family would like to thank all of Frank's caretakers at North Kansas City Hospital,  Kindred Northland Hospital, New  Mark Care Center, and St. Luke's Northland. A special thank you to his nurses at New Mark and in particular Stephen and Josh not only for the care and compassion that they showed for Frank but also the care that they showed to Kitty and the whole family while they had to visit Frank from outside through the window. They were truly angels and we will never forget them.
