Frankie Lee Macaluso, 73, Kearney, MO, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 1 p.m. Graveside services will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Frank was born July 9, 1942, and grew up in the Northeast area of Kansas City, MO. He retired as a captain from the Kansas City, MO Fire Department after 27+ years of service and was a 50-year member of Local 42. He loved hunting and the outdoors, and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Frank was preceded in death by his children, Joseph Michael, John Anthony, and Catherine Ann Macaluso. He is survived by three brothers and four sisters. Frank's family would like to thank his lifelong friend Dominic Allegro for his dedication to their friendship.
Frank was very patriotic which was shown by his numerous contributions to various veteran and Native American organizations.
