Gabriele DeCaro, 90, of Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2018, at his home in Licata, Sicily. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 6, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland Ave., Kansas City, MO 64117.

Gabriele was born March 2, 1928, in Licata, Sicily, the son of Angelo and Rosalia DeCaro. He came to the United States in 1955 and married Viola Miele in 1958. He is survived by his brother, Guiseppe DeCaro; and sister, Concetta LaRocca, both of Licata, Sicily; his nephew, Antonino Cusumano (Maria); great-nieces and nephews, Angela Wendel (Damon), Salvatore (Melisa), Gabriele (Terri), Angelo (Tabitha); and many nieces and nephews in Kansas City and Sicily.
