Gary Carr Crispell, age 78, passed away February 8, 2024, at North Kansas City Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

Gary was born and raised in Ferndale, New York, by his loving parents Ernest and Edith Crispell.  He was a 1963 graduate of Liberty Central High School, and received his business degree from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO. He was a successful businessman in Kansas City.  Gary was married to Pamela Merritt from Monticello, New York.

Gary is survived by his daughters Lisa Bongino and Stacey Yates (KC); his brother Edward Crispell (Terry); his sister Elizabeth Dino (Oscar); his two special grandchildren Nicholas Bongino and Alyssa Bowles; and his niece and nephews.  He enjoyed spending time with Treyton Jones, his great-grandson. Gary is also survived by his longtime companion Donald Shepoka.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home.
