George Mangiaracina, 80, Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

George was born November 10, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Salvatore and Johanna (Armato) Mangiaracina. He was a retired bartender and cook. He enjoyed spending time at the Askew Inn and American Sons of Columbus and loved making people laugh. George was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanene Bruscato; his parents; and his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette (Sola) Mangiaracina; sons and daughters-in-law, Sal and Annett Mangiaracina, George M. and Michelle Mangiaracina; son-in-law, Paul J. Bruscato; grandchildren, Nicholas, Nicole and Jordan; sister, Anna Ferrara; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
