Georgia Ann Armilio, 78, Overland Park, KS, passed away January 20, 2018, at her home, following a long illness. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd St., Overland Park, KS 66214. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the ALS Association; or Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.
Georgia Ann was born May 26, 1939, in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of Lillis High School and received an associate's degree from JCCC. She was employed by TWA and Worldspan, and was active in the Kansas City Ski Club, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, ALS Association, and the Kansas City Symphony Designers' Showhouse.
Georgia Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sadie Armilio; her sister, Mary Jo Janner; and niece, Diane Janner Galigani. She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Joseph and Vesta Janner, Frank and Anita Janner, Loretta and Dan Greene, Carol and Charles Meiners; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and many great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
