Gerald "Jerry" Huntsucker, was born January 28, 1944, and passed away peacefully Monday, January 24, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center, with his wife, niece, and church friends at his side. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Six Mile Baptist Church 26005 E. Blue Mills Road, Sibley, Missouri 64088.

Jerry was a lifelong member of Six Mile Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He loved traveling with his lovely wife Cathy. They loved to go to Colorado and Branson. Jerry loved woodworking, and making beautiful things for his wife, family, and church. He really enjoyed putting puzzles together and was a huge collector of trains. Jerry was deeply loved by his family and his church family. We always had a good laugh with him, especially at the holidays when we would all get together and play trivia games. Even though he would not play he was always shouting the answer from the other room.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Helen Huntsucker; sister Louise O'Dell; and sister-in-law Toni Maucelli Kosorog. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Cathy Maucelli Huntsucker; his stepsons Larry Metcalf, and Tim (Mary) Maucelli and family; his nieces Michele (Mike) Negus and girls, Lisa Devasher and family, Frannie Cothran and son, and Nikki Cothran; and his nephews Richard (Kim) Kosorog and family, and Pat (Theresa) O'Dell. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Richard Kosorog, and sister-in-law Christina Barnett.

Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We all know how he loved to be teased by his great nieces, Brittany, Toni-Jo, and Becky.
