Geraldine Sophia Felten Klenklen, 85, Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday May 6, 2016 at NorthCare Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones. Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terrace., Kansas City, MO 64116, beginning with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by Visitation, with the Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Donations can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or to NorthCare Hospice House.

Geraldine was born June 6, 1930 in Cooper County, MO, to Anthony and Jennie (Knedgen) Felten. She married Eddie Klenklen on December 27, 1949, in Pilot Grove, MO. They made their home in Kansas City, MO. Gerrie was a very devout Catholic and led a very prayerful life. She had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Jude.

Gerrie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Eddie Klenklen; sister Bette Laudenberger; and daughter-in-law Debbie Klenklen. She is survived by her children, son Don (Trena) Klenklen and his daughters Diane Klenklen and Danica (Clint) Stull; daughter Linda Zerger and her daughters Shelley (Steve) Tucker and Jennifer (Matt) Rokey; great- grandchildren, Sophia and Stryker Tucker, JJ and Zac Rokey, Jasper and Cosie Stull. She is also survived by her brothers Lyle Felten of Sedalia, MO, and Floyd Felten of Independence, MO.
