Geraldine J. "Gerry" Shepherd, 92, passed away May 9, 2020. Due to the current pandemic, funeral services are private with burial at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Gerry was born January 1, 1928, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Fred and Josephine (Ciarlelli) Reale. She worked as a toll collector at the Broadway Bridge for several years before retiring but most of all, Gerry was a strong and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was deeply devoted to her family.

Gerry was preceded in death by her sons, Arthur and Fred Shepherd; and her brothers, Patrick and Joe Reale. She is survived by her children, Cathy Genova (Pete), Gene Shepherd (Mary), and Diane Bonacorso (Joe); her grandchildren, Charlie Genova, Pete Genova (Lupita), Marie DeFeo (Nick), Jennifer Lukens, Angela Shepherd (Eric Neverve), Gene Shepherd (Ron), Joe John Bonacorso, John Anthony Bonacorso, Michael Bonacorso (Nicole); her great-grandchildren, Catherine and Nicki John DeFeo, Petey Joe Genova, R.J. and Matthew Lukens, Joe Mike and Sofia Bonacorso, Josephine Bonacorso; sister, Marie DuRall; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
