Geraldine "Gerry" Ragusa, 79, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  The visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119. Graveside services will immediately follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Gerry was born September 14, 1941, in Kansas City MO to Joseph and Pauline (Peri) DiGiovanni.  Gerry was a girl's best friend, her grandkids' biggest fan, her family's most loyal supporter and she was everyone's Aunt Gerry.  She loved to "get together" and was up for a trip anytime to anywhere but most especially to a sunny beach.  She welcomed every dog that found her door, never said no to making a batch of peanut butter balls and always reminded everyone to "take lots of pictures".  Gerry's friends were her family, and her family were her friends.  She will be immensely missed.

Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Joe , her parents, her brother George DiGiovanni, and brothers-in-law Frank Poppa and Joe Cuda.

Survivors include her children Maria Ragusa, Carl Ragusa (LuAnn), Paula O'Rear (Jeff);  grandchildren, Nicki, Joseph and Carl Ragusa, Michelle and Melaina O'Rear; sisters Carol Poppa and Annita Cuda (Joe Vitale); sister-in-law Virginia DiGiovanni; and many nieces and nephews.
