Glen L. Phillips, 90, Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Graveside services will Military Honors will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Groves Community Hospice.

Glen was born September 22, 1922 in Marshall, AR, to Jack K. and Hattie F. (Jones) Phillips. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Viola Phillips, in 2008. Glen is survived by his daughter, Hattie Cella; son, Cary Phillips; grandchildren, Leslie Cella, Mark Cella, Cameron Phillips, Alena Cox; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
