Glenn Boxwell, 74, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Glenn was born on March 24, 1949, in Fort Scott, Kansas, and grew up in the Kansas City area, graduating from Lee's Summit High School in 1967.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.  Glenn attended UMKC where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.  He later earned his Master of Accounting degree from UMKC. Glenn spent his professional career owning his own tax and accounting business where he helped many people.  He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his father Hubert Boxwell, his son Brian Boxwell, and many friends and family.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Jeanette (Indelicato) Boxwell; his father Hubert Boxwell; mother Elvada Boxwell; his father-in-law John Indelicato; and mother-in-law Annette Indelicato.

Survivors include his children Brian Boxwell and wife Amy, Christina Gagnon and husband John, Gina Zogorean and husband Nick; his wife Sharon Boxwell and stepchildren Laurel Austin and Shannon Murphy; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Glenn was a loving husband, father, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Kansas City VA Medical Center for their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 10, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Monday, September 11.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
