Grace Marie Jefferis, 51 years old of Fort Scott, Kansas, passed away on December 20, 2022, in Fort Scott. Visitation will take place on January 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home located at 2117 Independence Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64124.

Grace Marie Jefferis was born on March 3rd, 1971, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas to her parents John Lee Bremer and Wanda Marcene Singmaster. Grace spent most of her childhood in Spring Hill, Kansas. She met Trent Twidwell at her family church, Liberty Chapel, in youth group. They were married for 29 years and had five children together.

Grace and her family moved from Spring Hill to Gardner, Kansas in 1998. In 2000, they moved to Kansas City, Kansas where she and her family lived together until 2017. Grace embodied a passion to teach children, which led her to become a third-grade teacher in 2003 at Muncie Christian School and a longtime children's teacher at her church Praise Chapel. She also pursued work in the health and fitness / personal trainer world for the better part of 10 years. Grace was a passionate and loving person who had many dreams and ambitions. She was loved deeply by her family and friends. She was a bright light and made an impact on everyone she encountered with.

Grace was preceded in death by her grandmother Verva Conger, and her father John Lee Bremer.

Grace is survived by her mother Wanda Singmaster; her stepfather Dave Singmaster; her brother Beau Tyson Sands; five children: Lance Bradley Twidwell, Trevor Kyle Twidwell, Jared Blake Twidwell (Brittani), Brandon Tyler Twidwell, and Katherine Clarie Twidwell; and four grandchildren: Scarlett Rae Twidwell, Lydia Rae Twidwell, Jax Donovan Twidwell, and Jared Blake Twidwell Jr.
