Grace Ann (Barnes) Simsheuser, 71 passed away on October 21, 2024, at KU Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

Grace Ann was born September 21, 1953, in Kansas City, MO. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and especially a grandmother / "Noni".

She worked as a manager in several establishments including Chicks, Platinum, and Tangos.  She enjoyed visiting Las Vegas, going to local casinos, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with her family and friends. She believed in the best of everybody and gave everyone second chances (and then some), giving of herself with gratuitous empathy and kindness.

Grace Ann was preceded in death by her parents Percy Barnes and Grace (Scavuzzo) Barnes; her husband Albert Simsheuser; brother Thomas Ribaudo; son John Corbet; and niece Cherrie Ribaudo.

She leaves behind her stepson Tim Simsheuser; grandson Izaiah Dallas Jones; niece Debbie (Ribaudo) and Andrew Zuniga; nephew Vincent and JoAnna Ribaudo; great-nieces Stevie Jo Clark and Colette Ferrara; and great-nephew Carl Ferrara, along with many cousins and friends.
