Guglielmo "Bill" Gianchino of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 91.

Bill was born November 18,1933, to Santo and Georgia Gianchino, immigrants from Ragusa, Sicily. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Teresa; his daughter Vincie Armato; his brother Mario (Jane); and sister Vincie Cimino (Frank). Bill leaves behind his children Gina Presko (Terry), Sam Gianchino (Laura), Trisha Sapenaro (Dave), Mary Hergott (Richard); son-in-law Andrew Armato; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At the family's request, this will be a private service for the family only. The pallbearers will be his grandsons Casey and Nick Presko, Michael, Matthew and Marcus Armato, Sam and Joe Gianchino, and Ryan and Danny Sapenaro.

The family is grateful for your understanding and support during this difficult time. If you feel inclined to do so, donations can be made in Bill's name to the St. Joseph Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326. This is a cause that was very dear to Bill and one he often contributed to.
