Helen Hurtado, 56, Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Burial will follow in Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Helen was born June 27, 1958, in Kansas City, MO. She worked at the Central Branch of the Kansas City Public Library for 34 years. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Sara Hurtado; and her brother, Frank Hurtado.

Survivors include her sisters & brothers-in-law, Terri Hurtado, Mary and Joseph McCune, Diane and Jeff Richardson; niece, Vanessa Johnson (Jon); and nephews, Brian McCune, and Kyle Richardson.
