Helen Louise Tulipana, 100, died at home April 4, 2024. She was born January 17, 1924, to the late Adele and Alva Mudd, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a dedicated, often frustrated, KC Royals fan and an avid reader. In her earlier years she enjoyed dancing (light as a feather), painting, quilting and on occasion contributing to the local casinos. A long life well lived with great courage, determination, hard work, and most of all love of family. She will remain in our hearts forever.

A widow for 51 years, she was preceded in death by her husband George; sons George Jr., John, and James; and beloved granddaughter Teresa. She leaves behind her son Frank (Lisa); daughter Nancy Hauth (Robert); nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and half-brother Grover Mudd.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers she requested contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Kansas City Hospice.
