Ida was born September 8, 1935 to Calvin Boyd and Catherine Drexler. Ida was a devoted wife, mother and nanie. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Chick" Genova, and her parents. Survivors include her daughter Rena Kay and fiancé Mike Espinosa; daughter Billi Anna and husband Jasper Draskovich; grandchildren, Mary Beth and Tyler Cooper, Jimbo DiCapo, William DiCapo of the home, Marena Draskovich, Marisa Draskovich and great grandson, Anthony. Siblings include her sisters Mary Manser, JoAnn Serrone and husband Frank, Barbara Logsdon and husband Rick; and "baby brother" John Boyd and wife Betty Jean. Ida also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was a homemaker and jack of all trades. Everyone who knew Ida realized that the "chief" loved to take charge and always thought of others before herself. Even as her health deteriorated she always had a smile on her face. She had a strong will, however she finally relinquished her duties to be reunited with the love of her life, Chickie Poo. She never met a stranger, was loved by many and will be missed by all. Hail to the Chief, your little Indians will be okay.
