Irene (Ruffalo) Hunter's Obituary
Irene Hunter, 86, of Kansas City passed away Monday February 27 at New Mark Care Center.
Irene was born November 6, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri to George and Mary (Contrare) Ruffolo. She lived in Kansas City for most of her life. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Kathleen (McGeeney) Blair; brother Thomas Ruffolo; and husband Frank Hunter.
Survivors include her son Mark McGeeney; sister Kathleen Palmentere; sister-in-law Jean Ruffolo; grandsons Lute and Tom Blair; great-grandsons Jack and Ethan Blair; granddaughter Cathleen McGeeney, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City MO 64124. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City North.
