Obituary

Jaccie Delores Blaszczyk, 69 years old, passed on March 9, 2026, from her earthly home.

She was born on November 27, 1956, at Station Hospital at Fort Riley, Kansas Military Base. The family lived in Solomon, KS then moved to Wamego, KS in May of 1959 before moving to the Platte Woods area of Parkville, Missouri in August of 1966. Schooling in the Park Hill District, she graduated from Park Hill High School – Class of 1974.

Jaccie began her working career at KCI (MCI) Airport at the Gilbert-Robinson restaurant and gift shop. Her skills took her to the University of Kansas Medical Center in computer data entry. She obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science in 1978, and pursued a career at DST Systems Inc., a Kansas City based technology provider specializing in software data management. She achieved her master's degree in computer science from William Jewell College in May of 1988. She went on to Travelport/Worldspan, a provider of technology for travel agencies managing automated bookings for airlines. Her travels took her to our dad's homeland Poland and many trips to the orient.

Jaccie married James Evans in 1982 (divorcing in 1988). Having no children of her own, she enjoyed spending time with nieces and nephews.

Due to a health altering event she retired from Worldspan and moved to Florence, KS to live with her twin sister Donna. Following Donna's passing in 2021, she moved to Edwardsville, KS in 2022, where she resided until her passing.

Jaccie was preceded in death by her parents Arkadiusz and Joan Blaszczyk, her sister-in-law Courtney Blaszczyk, and her twin sister Donna Rosiere. Survivors include her siblings: Sharon Lynn (Darrel) of Minnesota, and Wanda Koehn (Bob), Linda Riddle (Dale), and Pete Blaszczyk (Tammy), all of Missouri; three nieces, Michelle, Jennifer, and Melissa; six nephews, Kevin, Jon, Jared, Ben, Danny, and Jeremy; five great-nieces and six great-nephews.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Contributions are suggested in her name to the American Stroke Foundation.
