Jacqueline Ann
Covey
Dec 6, 1946 — Nov 28, 2021
Jacqueline "Jackie" (Belfonte) Covey passed away on November 28th, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. It was the only time in her life that her heart failed her as she was known as a woman filled with love for all who crossed her path.
Jackie was born on December 6th, 1946, to Mike and Bea Belfonte. She spent most of her working life as a beautician. She was most proud of running her own salon for 15+ years. There are many words we could use to describe Jackie but the ones that come to mind are kind, generous, loved to cook, a fighter to the end, and a person with the gift of tears. The world is a less beautiful place without her in it.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother and sister-in-law John and Annette Belfonte. She is survived by her husband John Garcia, former spouse Charles Covey and significant other Sally Konopaske, sister-in-law Mary Closser, her children (Charlie, Mark and Charlene, Mary and Zack Abasov, Mary and Mike Solis, Anna and Dustin Nichols), her grandchildren (Michael, Kristina, Emma, Alexis, Andrew, Antonio, Bella, Christian, Katelyn), her nieces and nephews (Michael, Patricia, Natalie, James, Danny), and many more relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
We will be celebrating Jackie's life at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Thursday, December 2nd with the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and Visitation from 5-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 3rd at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jackie's name to the Sister Servants of Mary.
