James P. Bonadonna, 92, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. James was born May 31, 1919 in Kansas City, MO to Fortunato and Dorothea (Marsala) Bonadonna. He was owner of Barkley Liquors and B & C Party Shop. He served over 24 years on the Kansas City, MO School Board. James was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of the Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, in 2001.

Survivors include his children, Fred and Linda Bonadonna, Dorothy and John Creager, James P. Bonadonna Jr., Louis and Gloria Russell of Los Angeles, CA; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalie George; and cousin, Frank Marsala.
