James Edmond Roberts, Jr., 35, passed away March 8, 2019. A celebration of his life will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Roberts; and his brother Franklin D. Roberts. Survivors include his son, Damien; his daughter, Jasmine; his mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Roberts (George); his father, James E. Roberts, Sr. (Laura); sister, Amanda Dawn Caldwell (David); grandmothers, Donna Hoffman and Etta M. Roberts; grandfather, James Hoffman; one niece, one nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and one granddaughter on the way.
