Jeanene (Mangiaracina) Bruscato, 49, Blue Springs, MO, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 12, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, October 13, at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, 805 R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO 64015, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 1111 Main, Ste 450, Kansas City, MO 64105.
Jeanene was born September 1, 1963 in Kansas City, MO. She had worked for Yellow Freight Systems since 1990. She was a member of St. John LaLande Parish where she was active with the St. Joseph Table. She enjoyed baking and cooking and animals. She was very family oriented and especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Jeanene possessed a positive demeanor and was always happy and smiling.
Jeanene was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Joyce Bruscato. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Paul J. Bruscato; her parents, George and Antoinette (Sola) Mangiaracina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sal and Annett Mangiaracina, George M. and Michelle Mangiaracina; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mary and Terry Walker, Anthony and Toni Bruscato, Charles and Vicky Bruscato, Nick and Karen Bruscato, Donna and Hal Travis; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
