With heavy hearts, we announce that John (Jeff) Webb, 60, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away suddenly on January 16, 2025.

Jeff Webb was born on December 29, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Lou Ellen and William Webb. He grew up in Kansas City, cherished by his family and friends. Jeff graduated from Raytown South High School, where he made lasting memories with classmates and teachers alike.

Jeff was the youngest of three and was said to be the most level-headed, a stable force and mediator when things got challenging. He loved his mother and sisters endlessly and would do anything for them. He was the family's rock and one that could always be depended on.

Jeff embarked on a diverse career journey, starting as a dedicated paperboy and honing his skills as a line chef before finding his professional home at Toyota and Lexus as a master technician and diagnostic specialist. His career with Hendrick Lexus spanned 27 years. Known as "One Speed" among his colleagues, Jeff was meticulous in diagnosing automotive issues and mentored younger technicians, ensuring they excelled in their craft.

Jeff's greatest joy in life was his family. He met his soulmate, Connie Cavaliere-Webb, at a Christmas party, and their love story spanned nearly 32 years, filled with laughter, adventures, and unwavering support for each other. Together, they raised two daughters, Meghan and Kristen, whom Jeff adored and supported endlessly in their pursuits.

An active participant in his daughters' lives, Jeff enthusiastically attended countless dance recitals and swim meets, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines. He carried on his passion for The Coves swim team as a team official and starter for 18 years. He and Connie were also awarded the Bob and Maris Benson Award for their years of dedicated service to the team. His involvement with his girls extended to Maryville, Missouri, for Dad's Days, celebrating with his daughters and creating cherished memories with friends who became like family. As his daughters grew older, Jeff developed a close and cherished bond with them. He took immense pride in watching them flourish. In 2024, Jeff was overjoyed to earn the title of Pawpaw with the birth of his first grandson.

Beyond his professional and family life, Jeff was known for his selflessness and generosity. He was always ready to lend a hand with yard work, as a handyman, or assisting with cars — a passion he shared with attending car shows and helping loved ones find their perfect vehicle.

Jeff had a unique gift for bringing joy to those around him. He did not have an angry bone in his body and was always ready to forgive. Jeff always put a smile on everyone's face, would look at the brighter side of things, and would meet any problem with humor and his sharp-wit. He was fun-loving, never met a stranger and helped anyone who needed him. He will forever be remembered for his special smile and unforgettable sense of humor. His laughter and kindness left a mark on all who knew him.

Jeff was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Leland and Loise Wells, paternal grandparents John and Maud Webb, father William Webb, uncle Lee Wells, aunt Betty Jo Gualtier, father-in-law Sam Pascuzzi, sister-in-law Karen Pierce, and other family; Beverly Cavaliere.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Cavaliere-Webb; daughters, Meghan Webb and Kristen (Alvin) Le; grandson, James Le; mother, Lou Webb; sisters, Suzanne Wells-Morillon (Dan) and Kathy King-Dujakovich (Steve); nieces and nephews, Sean King (Bri), Sarah King, and many other family members and friends who cherished him deeply.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Kansas City North. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. [ LIVE STREAM ] In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Passantino Bros. Funeral Home in memory of Jeff Webb.
