Jennie Armato, 101, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. Visitation will be 10-11:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Jennie was born November 25, 1912. She was a wonderful mother and nana, and was known for her biscotti cookies, crème puffs and broccoli. Jennie loved to read the financials, perform alterations, and was active with the Salvation Army She will be missed by her many friends and neighbors.

Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Armato, in 1987; her daughter, Angela M. Farrell, in 2000; grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, and Jennifer; brothers, John Milazzo, Dr. A.J. Milazzo; and sister, Helen Mannino.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lorene and Michael McKee; grandchildren, Randy and Marilyn Farrell, Sean McKee; great-grandchildren, Michael and Toni Farrell, Stephen and Haley Farrell, Kristen Farrell, Joey, Nicholas, Michelle, Chandler, Megan, and Alex; great-great-grandchildren, Mia, Antonia, and Henry Farrell, Jordan, Ethan, and Abigail; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Clarence Lashbrook; sister-in-law, Marie Milazzo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
